Biography

Julia Hopkins is a highly experienced Principal Paediatric Dietitian at The Evelina Children’s Hospital, where she works in a clinical role in a specialist Long Covid clinic and Rare Diseases clinic.

She has previously worked in a wide range of other clinical specialties including Paediatric Diabetes, Complex Feeding Clinic, Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) as well as covering all aspects of general Paediatric Dietetics such as weight management, faltering growth, bowel management. Julia has worked as part of multidisciplinary teams throughout her career to provide a holistic approach to children, young people and their families.

Her clinical experience covers more than 35 years of working with children and young people to improve their nutritional intake and long term health. Her practice spans both acute and long-term care, with a focus on improving quality of life through evidence-based nutrition interventions.
