Biography

Mr Nic Alexander is a highly experienced Neonatal and Paediatric Surgeon with extensive training from Downing College Cambridge and UCL. He completed his specialist surgical training in London (FRCS) and pursued prestigious fellowships at the Royal Marsden Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. In 2023, he also earned an MBA from Henley Business School, enhancing his leadership and healthcare management expertise.

Mr Alexander is an established NHS Consultant Paediatric Surgeon working at Imperial College NHS Trust and Chelsea and Westminster NHS Trust specialising in both general surgery of childhood and complex surgery for haemoglobinopathies. His approach is patient-centred, innovative, and deeply collaborative, aiming to provide comprehensive care tailored to each young patient’s needs. He is the Clinical Director of the North Thames Paediatric Network.
